About the Role
We’re looking for an Events Coordinator who’s excited to grow their career in marketing, field events, and community engagement, while supporting a mission that genuinely matters. This role blends event logistics, hands-on execution, travel, and direct interaction with the Fire Service community.
You’ll help LIV show up with excellence at conferences, regional events, trade shows, and community engagements. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, people-focused, and eager to build real marketing and field operations experience.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute field marketing programs, including conferences, regional fire service events, trade shows, and webinars.
- Own and support all event logistics: scheduling, shipping materials, travel booking, vendor coordination, booth setup, signage, and onsite support.
- Maintain a comprehensive annual events calendar and help optimize scheduling and prioritization.
- Assist with physical setup and breakdown at events (reasonable accommodations available).
- Ensure LIV presents a polished, professional, consistent brand presence at every event.
Onsite Engagement & Brand Experience
- Represent LIV at live events with professionalism, respect, and a service-oriented approach.
- Engage with attendees, customers, inspectors, and fire service leaders to build positive brand interactions.
- Capture photos, videos, and event moments for marketing use.
- Brainstorm local engagement ideas to strengthen community connection.
Marketing & Sales Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales to drive attendance, support pipeline goals, and ensure event alignment with revenue objectives.
- Support localized marketing campaigns (email, social, digital) before, during and after events.
- Assist with developing and maintaining event collateral, signage, presentations, and branded materials.
- Track event performance using defined KPIs and provide post-event reports.
- Help maintain inventory of branded gear and swag.
Tools & Operational Support
- Learn and use modern GTM tools, including HubSpot, Salesforce, ChatGPT, LinkedIn, Facebook, Figma, and project management platforms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support various marketing initiatives and special projects.
- Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and vendor negotiations.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships, volunteer, or part-time roles welcome).
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 50-60% based on event schedules.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely.
- Strong interest in marketing, events, community engagement, or GTM operations.
Preferred:
- Experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation.
- Exposure to B2B SaaS or mission-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM/marketing systems.
- Experience managing trade show logistics or event vendor relationships.
- Ability to assist with light design (slide decks, signage, layouts).
